This Wednesday, May 25, MGS Seguros announced at its Terrassa branch the insurer's collaboration as a partner of the FIH Women's Hockey World Cup in Terrassa 2022, which will be held between July 1 and 17.
The event was attended, among others, by the General Director and Executive Director of MGS, Juan Ignacio Querol, the President of the RFEH, Santiago Deó, the Councilor for Sports of Terrassa and President of the World Cup Organizing Committee, Miguel Ángel Moreno.
Querol, during his speech, highlighted the importance of promoting grassroots sports with different initiatives that MGS will carry out prior to the celebration of the World Cup, collaborating in the dissemination of this important event and consolidating the link between the insurer and Terrassa and its citizens. In addition, he underlined the enormous boost that the success of this great event will bring to the dissemination of women's sports and the city. To conclude, he congratulated the excellent work being done by the Organizing Committee, the Federation, the public bodies and the clubs involved. Miguel Ángel Moreno highlighted that “Terrassa is preparing the event with great enthusiasm and from the first moment it has been working side by side with the entire city and especially with the hockey family, where thanks to companies like MGS Seguros we are going to allow promoting sport, and hockey in particular, in our city. Terrassa will once again revive the Olympic Spirit of '92 in the World Cup, and will mark a before and after both economically and socially”.
For his part, Santiago Deó, was extremely happy to be able to count on the support of MGS Seguros, which with this agreement reinforces its commitment to Hockey and this great event that we are about to face. Currently, MGS is a Sponsoring Partner of the RFEH in its firm commitment to sport, collaborating especially with the federation in projects to promote the base and also inclusive sport. MGS gives its name to the men's Division of Honor league and is a sponsor of the senior teams and lower categories.
