Today, Saturday, in the run-up to the second semifinal of the FIH Women's World Cup Spain & Netherlands 2022 presented by IBERDROLA, the organization of the World Cup, together with the Royal Spanish Hockey Federation, will pay tribute to the absolute Spanish team female Olympic champion in Barcelona 1992.
They will do it in commemoration of the thirtieth anniversary of that magical gold medal, which is still very present in the retina of all hockey fans.
On the blue of the Olympic Stadium will be Mariví González, Natalia Dorado, Virginia Ramírez, Mari Carmen Barea, Silvia Manrique, Teresa Motos, María Ángeles Rodríguez, Sonia Barrio, Célia Cores, Eli Margall, Nagore Gabellanes, Maider Tellería, Mercedes Coghen, Núria Olivé, Anna Maiques and Maribel Martínez, where they signed a feat that will last forever.
Along with them will also be José Brasa, their head, who will be accompanied by David Pérez, José Antonio Gil, José Ullès, Carlos Hernández, Ángel Laso and Pablo Galán, who formed his coaching staff at that time.
