The event will serve as an appetizer for the World Cup that will be held from July 1 to 17 in the same venue
On June 4 and 5, the Terrassa Olympic Stadium will host four exciting field hockey matches with the Spanish men's and women's teams, who will play two games each against China and South Africa, respectively. From Tuesday, May 17, at 10 a.m., tickets for this event can be purchased at the price of 5 euros per session and 8 euros for both sessions. Each session includes a Pro League match for the Spanish men's team and one for the women's team.
It will be an important weekend especially for the women's team, the Redsticks, who will play their first matches on the stage where, from July 1 to 17, they will play the FIH Hockey Women's World Cup Terrassa 2022. Adrian Lock's team will debut against China in the World Cup stadium, completely remodeled and converted for the occasion into a field hockey field, as happened in 1992 when the Catalan city hosted this sport's Olympic competitions.
The FIH Pro League is a league format competition that brings together the best men's and women's teams on the planet. The Spanish men's team, led by Max Caldas, disputes it for the third time, while the women's Redsticks have debuted in it this season. Both teams arrive at the event in a great moment of form, with the men in 10th place in the international ranking and the women, who were bronze in the last World Cup, 7th.
