A guided tour through modernism, the industrial heritage and the cradle of hockey in Spain

Description: guided tour in English of the Masia Freixa, the modernist façades of the Raval de Montserrat and the Casa Alegre de Sagrera. We will highlight the role played by the bourgeoisie in rooting hockey in the city.

EXCURSION TO THE MOLA

Dinner and sunset at the top! Stairs to the highest peak of the Sant Llorenç del Munt Natural Park, visit the old Romanesque monastery, taste a traditional Catalan dinner and enjoy the best sunset in the area.

Description: Pick up the group by bus and transfer to Matadepera where we will take the Camí dels Monjos to reach the monastery and visit it. Dinner at La Mola restaurant and sunset view. Return to Matadepera and transfer to the departure point. Guided service in English.

Duration: 4.5 hours.

THE HUMAN TOWERS EXPERIENCE

Sign up for a castellers training session and discover the teamwork needed to build a human tower. End the experience with a tasting of local delicacies.

This unique experience will take place at the headquarters of the Minyons de Terrassa, a castle group located in a modernist building from 1912. The castles have been recognized as a cultural heritage site by UNESCO since 2010.

The experience includes a guided tour in English by a member of the castellera group to the modernist Jacint Bosch house, the current rehearsal room of the group, a taste of Terrassa gastronomy and participation in the casteller rehearsal.

Terrassa Tourist Office

The Terrassa Tourist Office is located in a wonderful modernist Gaudinian-inspired building built by the architect Lluís Muncunill: La Masia Freixa (between 1905-1910).

Located in the Parc de Sant Jordi, it is presented with rounded profiles highlighting the use of the parabolic arch making this building one of the jewels of the modernist heritage of Terrassa.

In the Tourist Office you will find all the tourist offer of the city and also has a space where it offers attractive merchandising products inspired by the most emblematic buildings of Terrassa, many of them, made by local artists and craftsmen. .

LONG LIVE THE TERRASSA FESTA MAJOR!

From the 1st to the 6th of July Terrassa is hosting its Festa Major, an event that this year will coincide with the celebration of the Women's Hockey World Cup in the city. A fact that will link, for a few days, two of the differentiating elements that characterize the city: Sport and culture.

Traditionally, the Festa Major de Terrassa is the great meeting point for the people of Terrassa who, this year, will be even more open to welcome all those people who visit the city on the occasion of the World Cup. A unique opportunity to enjoy the people, the music, the culture, the magic and the tradition that fill the streets of Terrassa during the celebration of its big party. As a cultural city and open to everyone, the Festa Major is one of the great backbones that unites Terrassa. LIVE SUMMER ON TERRASSA

During the summer months the cultural and leisure activity in Terrassa does not stop! The Fem Estiu (We Do Summer) is a cycle that is held between July and September in different areas of the city such as squares, streets, unique buildings or other public spaces. With a very varied program and aimed at all types of audiences, the Fem Estiu offers family shows of theater, dance, music, magic, children's workshops, live concerts, film cycles, Jazz or guided tours of different elements of the heritage of the city.

In addition, the Fem Estiu program also includes the Terrassa Circus Festival, the Didó Music and Puppet Festival and the Summer Festival of the Seu d’Ègara for classical music.
